Donation of sewing machines by PNB to Samvedana

It is a matter of pride that Samvedana was chosen as the NGO by the Punjab National Bank this year as a recipient of it's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to empower women.

In a function organised by the bank in its office in Panchkula, seven sewing machines were donated by Punjab National Bank to Samvedana by the Managing Director and CEO Mr Atul Goyal.

The event was attended by President Samvedana Ms Prajakta Avhad, Vice president and Ms Aruti Nayar. Ms Tulsi and SarvJit Kaur, the beneficiaries of Samvedana skill centre at Kajheri were also present. Mr Prabhjit Singh, Senior Manager Punjab National Bank coordinated with team Samvedana and conducted the event. The MD assured the President of help in the future as well. This is yet another step forward in Samvedana's journey to empower women, especially less privileged women.
