Gender awareness trainings for Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, Dist Ahmednagar, Maharashtra

Happy to share that Samvedana has successfully completed first part of 10 trainings in the month of July 2021.

These online trainings on gender awareness are held for teachers from the MVPS schools in Dest.Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.

Along with Jhep Foundation from Pune this series of workshops is being held for 1100 teachers from 52 schools. We want to bring awareness about gender issues among the students, their parents and the rural community around.

We focus on various problems like child marriages,domestic violence, child abuse, inequality in the society, gender development indicators etc to generate awareness among the masses.

Teachers’ responses, a heartfelt support from the organization are the real boosters for us.
