Gender awareness trainings for teachers

Starting from July 8 th, 2020 Samvedana along with Jhep Foundation is holding a series of training sessions for secondary and higher secondary teachers in Maharashtra.

Samvedana in partnership with Jhep foundation is holding a series of workshops for Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, an old and prestigious educational institution in Maharashtra.

Through these trainings Samvedana’s outreach will be upto 1100 teachers from 52 schools.

Samvedana believes in creating gender awareness among the teachers as they can influence the minds of their students and and parents.This also helps in reducing gender biases in education particularly during and after the pandemic times.

With the help of responses and feedbacks from teachers both Samvedana and Jhep foundation will plan to reach out more and more educators in the rural areas of Maharashtra.
